Your link does not work; this is the correct one https://eme1998.substack.com/p/immigration-ive-got-it-all-wrong

I liked reading your post, you have put a lot of work in and explained in a much more scientific way what I was simply explaining in layman terms.

Think of a country where you have almost no different cultures to speak off anymore, say a country where 3 or 4 generations of many different races that have lived and worked together. This country is magically shielded from the global MSM so nobody is influenced with regards to media propaganda that either negatively or positively talks about one certain race/colour/religion. In the country you only have the state approved culture and the neighbourhoods/schools/companies are all 'perfectly' mixed with all different races, if you then have a pre-school where there is a perfect mix of very young children supervised with the perfect racial mix of supervisors/teachers.. Then you have a chance of a racism free country. But understanding how difficult it is to get everything 'right', you'll have to agree with me that 'racism' or 'labelling groups of people and having groups you want to interact with most or groups you want to interact with less' will always be a factor in our lives.

It is in our nature to create an 'in group' and an 'out group', it is what makes us feel comfortable because it is something that is basically coded in to the way we operate.

You can't fault human nature, what you can do is make people aware of it and educate them on ways of dealing with it.

Thanks for finding my article despite me sending you the wrong link!

I do agree with you about education and the general premise that we create 'the group within the group syndrome' and therefore reap the consequences.

What I am not sure about is whether imagining a country where everything is setup perfectly will do the trick.

Much has to do with a common human trait that allows us to blame others for whatever goes wrong. And 'wrong' in cases of racism, tends to mean 'different in appearance/culture/habits'.

I've travelled and lived in many different parts of the world and my personal life is submerged in 'difference'. I know that although there is only one 'race', for comfort's or convenience's sake we often choose to see the many rather than the one.

Perhaps my 'one' and your 'ideal country' both end up in the same place of harmony.

Thanks again for taking the time to read and to discuss.

You are most welcome, I liked reading your in-depth analysis. What I really meant with the 'perfect' society is that you can only remove that labelling of in-group and out-group when you have children grow up and interact with all races while being in a place with just one culture all adhere to. No outside negative labelling of any race etc.; everything is always focused on all being equal. Those children would be able to outgrow racism and it would become a thing of the past.

But because we could never (and should not try to) create a society like that, we just have to live with the reality that people label and have preferences, however narrowminded they might be. We can only learn how to live with it and sensitize the people with those narrowminded ideas how to live with them without bothering others too much. Most of the narrowmindedness comes from ignorance and not having been around many different races and cultures (while some comes from being around too many races and cultures, it can work in both ways).

And thank you for reading my post and commenting, I love to have these discussions. Wishing you a nice day!

But don't you also think that all the different cultures with their good and bad aspects is what makes life colourful? If it is just one state approved culture, it would make life so boring, what do you think?

The consequence is 'racism', but I think it is worth it in that sense.

I do not think that race as skin colour, differing physical traits and cultural customs matters that much when 2 people come together from different ethnic backgrounds.

It does initially of course because the differences are obvious to the eye.

However, once the relationship begins in earnest, the mind, if open to the exchange in closeness and eventual friendship, will search for characteristics that are not obvious to the eye.

For example, an ability to communicate, to receive, process and consider the other's thoughts and feelings, an aptitude to share experiences, as well as a willingness to spend time in the process.

Without true openness to others (whatever the race), without the willingness to spend time in 'their world' no progress can be made.

But my point is that the same is true whether we are dealing with members of one race or another.

Yes, it is interesting and enjoyable to learn about various approaches to life, various cultures and ethnic lifestyles - and one learns much that way - but, in the end, it's a one on one exchange that makes it or breaks it and, if we are willing to go past the 1st hurdle of 'foreigness', then the relationship grows regardless of ethnicity or background.

Hmmmm. I don't tend to think in words, but in images and feelings, so when I think of someOne it is either just an image of Them, or, if They have treated Me well or poorly, a feeling will be attached. This is likely why I have always sucked at names - all My life, and no matter how much I tried. Many interactions are needed for Me to remember a name...

So I'm not sure I place any labels, per se. But Your experience is quite interesting.

Haha, no need for shame :) And besides your own channel? There is so much shit out there on YT/Rumble etc, too little content that makes me look at reality from a different perspective.
