Yes, it is basically all a joke, one big pyramid scheme with only the peasants that suffer the consequences but hey, they keep on voting and paying taxes, so who cares? And now they are trying to get as many people invested in the big Cryp-to scam to get that real 1920's vibe going. I am just waiting for the moment they'll collapse it all and send the world in to chaos.
Not quite true: "Money is of no importance to the people shaping the reality of the masses." Money is Their only tool to power - it buys all the rest They use, the things and the People - so from the standpoint of money itself, it's VERY important to Them. It's the making of more of it that They are not much caring about.
They use it to have plannedemics, but all the media, farm land, etc. They have plenty.
And You surely nail the purpose of Their moves. Needless to say... I persist in My work to solve for the moneyed psychopaths in control.
"Well fuck you, we will replace it with a battery on wheels that is too heavy and impractical for people who truly love cars."
I can't agree on this point, IR. No one can accuse Elon Musk of not loving cars and demonstrating that love in Tesla vehicles. Whatever kind of transhumanist monster he may be I have great admiration for how he's made EVs sexy and has managed to sell them so well. I think the Tesla is a great-looking car and I'm utterly astounded that despite its price it is a pretty common sight on Sydney roads now - much more common than any other EV. I live in a pretty ordinary suburb and I simply cannot believe how many I see around. I think it's the pricing strategy to do with salary packages that makes it popular and affordable.
OK, so now I'm hearing that all the EMFs we're bombarded with are bad for us but it's interesting how someone who owns both a Tesla and a BMW with fancy seats said even though the Tesla seats were less comfortable he felt more rested after a long drive in his Tesla compared to the BMW.
Sorry Petra, but you are wrong on this one. An electric car is nice if you like quick acceleration or fancy tech but car lovers love petrol cars because of the driving dynamics. The cornering, the feel of what a car will do and don't forget the engine sound the car produces. Due to the enormous weight of the batteries and all the electronics to keep an EV on the road, the drive by wire steering and the lack of sound it is just not an option for most car lovers.
But be honest, Petra, you don't seem to be someone who had a big poster of a Lamborghini Countach on the wall when you were a teenager.. So can you really know what car lovers love about cars?
And I admit, I don't find the Model 3 very ugly (but certainly not pretty) but I will debate you on the topic of Musk. In my eyes he is nothing more than a weird puppet paraded around as a wonder child, he is just the face of the EV movement and the clearly faked SpaceX program (which you might think is real). He has a good team of people around him, good connections for that sweet government money and EV's would have never been as common if it were not for all the subsidies. As is clearly visible now; many countries around the world are no longer subsidizing EV's and the demand slumps.
EMF's, there are people sensitive to it and some are not. You saying someone preferers a Tesla over a BMW is anecdotal evidence and it basically tells you nothing. I can quote someone who sold his EV because he always got sick in it. Does that mean EV's make you sick? A video about EMF in an EV, you decide if it is good or bad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcYDVN_Hcl8
In my opinion it is like other things that are bad for us; it won't kill instantly but just weaken you and over time, combined with other toxins in and around us, it can have a negative effect on your overall health. But that is my opinion based on the limited research done.
You are right, IR, definitely not a car lover, never owned one and may well never own one unless I live in a place that's difficult to get around without one.
However, Elon Musk definitely IS a car lover and brought his love of cars to Tesla. I don't really see how you can deny that. And obviously some people at least like driving them, some of them great car lovers such as the Top Gear guys. For goodness sake, even Jeremy Clarkson, who so rubbished Tesla has changed his tune.
I'm not trying to "prove" anything with my anecdote, I'm just putting it forward as one person's experience. The thing is if you're a person who's not particularly sensitive to EMFs but you are sensitive to petrol fumes then a Tesla will suit you better.
EMFs in EVs is definitely a problem but as the guy points out in your video, all cars are highly EMF'ed with various electronics even if they run on petrol. The EMF problem is just so pervasive now.
What do you think about hydrogen as a fuel? Apparently, Musk is looking at hydrogen for Tesla now.
The character presented to us as Elon Musk has several hobbies; he likes to play with rockets (that never leave earths atmosphere) & CGI, he pretends to be ultra smart with dumb projects like the hyperloop, the Semi, his tunnel boring idea or the Cybertruck. It is easy for me to abstain from denying or confirming anything said about anyone in the public eye because it is mostly fabricated. From backstory (selfmade man) to the starting of Tesla (he did not) to his relationships/hobbies or whatever. We get spoonfed bullshit and I am frankly a bit amazed you fall for it.
The same goes for Clarkson, if they tell him he should be pro EV, he will find positive things to say and most of the sheep will agree and some might even change their opinion. But you know as well as I do; they always want differing opinions as to keep us occupied with needles discussions about little problems so the big problem continues to be ignored; the system controlling us and right now in the midst of killing of the fattened sheep so their new age can begin.
I know Musk didn't start Tesla and he may have had little to do with the actual design of Tesla models under his stewardship nevertheless he obviously had control over the design and he chose the designers - his input is clearly there. But he loves cars and the Tesla models under his stewardship have been very successful.
Perhaps Clarkson was told to say positive things about EVs but the thing is you don't know for sure that's why he's saying positive things and James May drives one, he's not just doing it for the cameras.
I don't see myself as falling for anything ... rather IR I think you have a strong prejudice against EVs which blinds you to their positives.
They have negatives ... but they also have positives ... just like petrol cars.
You glossed over my two main points, the first being; I don't care about the opinion of any celebrity. As a nice example of mr. Clarkson, he explicitly stated, "If you really want to know what I think: get vaccinated. It's not a government plot."
And two; My article is not about being against EV's, I was merely pointing out that the global system is making life less and less fun on so many fronts and EV's are not loved by (most) petrolheads. I can think of many good use cases for EV's (not the current one) but they will not be for everybody and it should be a choice, not by force.
By the way, you can't say that you know how big Elon's influence is in Tesla; you know as little about it as I do, unless you have been working with him very closely. Saying 'he obviously had control over the design' is simply not correct, we know very little about how the system uses their henchmen. It is possible he was involved, it is just as possible he just stays home all day and plays Minecraft only to appear on media events with some talking points given to him before the event.
I know your article wasn't about being against EVs but I was just disagreeing with you on the point you were making about them. They might be less fun in some ways but the quick acceleration you referred to is fun, no? I live in an area with quite a few petrol heads and if EVs are going to rain on their parade I won't be shedding any tears for them. I'm over the constant revving and spewing out of car fumes.
We're a long way from people being forced to get EVs but eventually I'm sure the technology will simply take over ... but I think it will take awhile.
They don't care about profits because they make their money on stock PRICES which goes up on speculation and hype, not actual value.
That's how the stock market works, a moronic system that is essentially a bet, with bets on top of bets.
I used to wonder who did we owe the national debt to.
Turns out the same amount the debt increase rose the wealth of the ones who own these instruments.
